We held a anti-bullying parade today at Allendale-Fairfax Elementary School that was full of energy and excitement. Both children and adults enjoyed dancing to the live DJ, who played some of our favorite line-dancing and TikTok songs. We were warmed by the support of our local law enforcement, who were proud to participate in the parade. This moment truly brought everyone together and reminded us that peace is possible.

In between speeches, we enjoyed a glorious performance from our AFES Dancers. The dance, choregraphed by Mrs. Meyers, was a beautiful tribute to the long journey we have endured. Sam Cook's,"A Change is Gonna Come" played as the dancers gracefully swayed in their red gowns. Their recital was truly mesmerizing and captured the whole audience.

On last night, we held our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Oratory Competition at Allendale-Fairfax Elementary School. A group of five students each performed original speeches discussing the current climate of our society. The goal was to address issues from MLK's perspective, since he started a fight for freedom and justice that still continues today.
