Dear Allendale County Community of Learners, Due to a nearby shooting, our Allendale-Fairfax Middle and High Schools are currently in a soft lockdown as a precautionary measure. This means that all exterior doors are locked, and we are limiting movement within the building to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Please know that there is no immediate threat to our school, and we are closely monitoring the situation. Students are safe, and classes will continue as scheduled. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. We will provide updates as necessary. Thank you for your support. Sincerely, Dr. Vallerie Cave Superintendent of Schools

October 18, 2024 Dear Parents and Guardians, We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to inform you of a new policy regarding attendance at the upcoming football game on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Due to recent safety measures and event management concerns, only parents or guardians can be present at the game. This requirement is in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees and to maintain proper supervision at the event. Please note that: • We understand this may be an inconvenience for some families, but it is necessary to ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work together to create a positive, safe experience for all involved. Sincerely, Coach Brandyburg Athletic Director/Assistant Principal

As part of Allendale-Fairfax High School's College Application Day, students were given designated time to complete college applications for FREE. We also had representatives from several colleges including University of South Carolina Salkehatchie, Charleston Southern University , Francis Marion University, Morris College, Clafin University, and the College of Charleston. This gave our students a chance to ask them questions about admissions and enrollment.
