Allendale-Fairfax Middle School Celebrates National School Counseling Week! @acsrising
The Allendale-Fairfax Track Team are looking for students in grades 7-8 interested in running, throwing, and/or jumping. Practice will start February 1, 2021 at 3:50 pm - 6:30 pm. Rides must pick up students promptly at 6:30 pm. On a daily basis, students will need a sweat suit (bottom and top), running shoes, shorts, and water bottle. Must have a physical! Middle School Parents:
Benchmark testing ends today, Wednesday, January 27, 2021. All regular in-person students will report back to school Thursday, January 28, 2021. The next round of testing will be February 9-11 for i-Ready. Students will report to campus by grade level beginning with 6th grade. We have enjoyed having our students on campus during this time. If you would like to switch your student from virtual to in-person, please contact the school at (803)584-3489 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Middle School Parents:
This is a reminder that on tomorrow, Tuesday, December 15th ONLY 6th grade students will report to campus for testing. Each student should bring their iPad fully charged, their charger, a mask, and a bottle of water. Students may dress down ($1 for tops + $1 for bottoms = $2). Fundraising supports the student activities at AFMS. Breakfast is from 8:00 - 8:30 and early release is from 2:00 - 2:45. Regular dismissal is at 3:45.
**Students not testing, parents must complete a refusal to test form. Please contact Ms. Anderson or Ms. Price at 803-584-3489**

Effective November 30, 2020, all virtual middle schoolers need to be log in for 1st period by 8:30 am. Also, each student must participate in MTSS immediately following 3rd period. Your student's MTSS teacher is the their 4th period teacher. See the attached schedule. Contact the school if you have any questions.

An email has been sent to student email accounts with instructions on how to change their password. The AFMS family is sending a special “thank you” to Healthy Blue for the generous donation made to our teachers and students! Teachers will receive webcams, headphones, whiteboards and mouse pads. Healthy Blue also donated hygiene kits and will make a monetary donation of $2,500 to purchase a washer and dryer for student use. Thank you for thinking of our teachers and scholars.
Allendale-Fairfax Middle Schools sends a special "thank you" to the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church for donating $50 gift cards for each teacher to purchase additional classroom sanitizing supplies.
