Dear 8th and 9th Grade Parents and Students,
We will be holding a meeting on September 10th at 5:30 PM in the AFHS Cafeteria to discuss recent conflicts. We are hoping that with the assistance of school administrators, local officers, and your help we can reach a solution. Please come out to get involved and reunite our community!

We are honored that our partner, FullMind, did a case study on how their virtual teachers have benefitted our district. Thanks to FullMind, we are able to supply our scholars with some of the best instruction, even with the rural teacher shortage we're currently facing. Dear Parents and Guardians, we are experiencing issues with our heating and cooling system at Allendale-Fairfax Middle and High School. In order to ensure our children are comfortable, tomorrow, August 27th 2024 will be a dress down day for only these students. Please make sure that students wear school appropriate clothing that adheres to and follows the dress code policy. Students that do not adhere to the dress code policy will be asked to make parental contact. In the meantime, box fans will be provided in every classroom. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to rectify this as soon as possible.
Dress Code:
Tops: No cutoff/midriff shirts or tank tops
Bottoms: No tears, holes or rips are allowed. Skirts and shorts must be fingertip length.

ATTENTION: WEATHER UPDATE
Greetings parents and families. School will be closed on Tuesday, August 6th and Wednesday, August 7th due to the impending storm Debby. This includes all after-school activities and events. This decision was made based on the expert recommendations of the Allendale County Preparedness Team. We are grateful for this partnership and many factors were considered in this decision. The safety of our staff and students must always come first. Since we are in the beginning days of school, e-learning is not an option at this time. Everyone please take precautions and be safe in the storm. Please look for the next update on Wednesday, August 7th via our Facebook or website. Thank you for your support of Allendale County Schools #TogetherWeCanDoThis

Good Evening Parents,
We were excited to have our scholars back at school today. Please check your child's backpack for a Parent Letter from each teacher as well as information from our nurse. We appreciate your support and we look forward to seeing our students again tomorrow.
Today is the last day to pre-register your child! Powerschool coordinators will be in the elementary and high school cafeterias until 4:30 PM. Registration is required to receive a clear backpack and school supplies at the Back to School Bash. If you fail to register before the bash, we will also have stations on the day of the event where you can register.
