In lieu of our traditional ACS Monthly Community Meeting for the month of October, Allendale County Schools will host the ACS Community-Wide Fall Festival! The event will include face-painting, storytelling, trunk-or-treat, games, music, free books for students and an update from the school district! Come out and join us for a night of fun and reading!

ACS is offering Saturday School for all K-12 students who need additional support in math and reading. Dates for Saturday School are October 12th & 19th, November 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd December 7th, 14th and January 11th & 25th.

Today, was College Application Day in Tigertown! Students completed applications and were given key points for success during the process from college admissions counselors. The College of Charleston, Claflin University, USC Beaufort, USC Salkehatchie, Denmark Technical College and Allen University were all present to assist our scholars in preparing for their post secondary education.

Allendale County Schools held its Prayer Walk for the second year inviting local faith leaders to pray at each school campus and the District Office.
Today, Allendale-Fairfax High’s JROTC honored the fallen heroes of the United States Armed Forces during their annual 9/11 Ceremony. We will never forget their sacrifices.

C. L. "Shep" Shepherd will return to ACS during for our first pep rallies of the year. We can hardly wait for the excitement he always brings.
On August 3rd, ACS hosted its annual Back to School Bash. ACS We provided clear, heavy duty backpacks for every student in the district. With the help of community partners, community members and alumni, ACS also providing school supplies for students to kickoff the 2019-2020 school term.
Reading Under the Stars was phenomenal! We invited all of our ACS families to came out and read for 45 minutes at the A-F Tiger Stadium. Snacks and drinks were provided. ACS families brought lawn chairs, blankets and pillows to enjoy reading with us!
