Good evening Tiger Community! The Smart Box along with Golden Harvest Food Bank will be distributing food and personal items to the citizens of Allendale County ONLY (Sycamore,Ulmer, Fairfax, Martin, St. Mark)on tomorrow from 9am-11am on Flat Street. Distribution includes the following: Toilettes Water Snacks Gatorade Diapers Juices Protein Shakes and more! Counselors will be on site for those experiencing depression or anxiety from the impact of the tornado. Because we are a family, families support each other in time of a crisis. Volunteers are needed to help distribute these items.

Attention Parents, Teachers and Scholars: At this time we would like to inform all teachers, parents and students of the e-Learning expectations that are to take place until the reopening of our district on Friday April 8, 2022. Teachers…. if you have consistent power and internet access, please provide a virtual learning platform for your students. Parents & Scholars….if you have power and internet access, please check your email regularly to receive assignments and further communicate with teachers during this time. We thank you for your cooperation and look forward to having you back on Friday.

Good Morning Tiger Family, I am thinking of you this morning. Pray that you are safe and well. To continue to ensure the utmost safety of our scholars and staff, Allendale County School District will remain closed through tomorrow April 7, 2022 and is scheduled to reopen Friday, April 8, 2022. We are monitoring weather conditions very closely to continue to make the most informed decisions. According to the National Weather Service, damaging winds and severe thunderstorms are underway this afternoon. This information is ever changing and we encourage everyone to continue monitoring the weather from your homes and cellular devices when possible. We also encourage each of you to take shelter in a sturdy, safe environment. Our district shares our deepest sympathy and sends prayers for those who have been affected during this unfortunate time. Good Evening, Tiger Family: Please read the following schedule that will be effective for all Allendale County School District scholars and staff: We regret to inform you that a tornado has hit in Allendale County on today. Damage to homes and places of business has been done. Many are without power. To ensure the safety of both our scholars, staff and community as a whole, our district will remained closed on tomorrow April 6, 2022. The district will move to an eLearning platform. All schools and offices are scheduled to resume regular schedule on Thursday, April 7, 2022.

The Allendale County Library welcomes you to join their book sale on Saturday April 9, 2022 from 10:30A.M. - 1:30P.M. The book sale will be located upstairs in the Friends Room and prices are as follows: paperbacks are $0.10 & hardbacks are $0.25. The Allendale County Library encourages the Tiger Community to take advantage of this great opportunity to purchase books, audio books & cds for your home or business at a great price.

Greetings! We would like to inform you that 2022 Allendale Super Scholars Summer Academy registration has begun! We are extending our academy to both scholars who are seeking enrichment as well as to those where remediation is necessary. Good morning Tiger Community! It is almost that time again! Join us for our March Community Meeting! This month's Community Meeting will be held at our high school in the multipurpose room and will start at 6 p.m. on Monday March 28, 2022. We look forward to seeing each of you!

We would like to thank UTU Enterprises for presenting “The Natural Way” a natural hair care workshop for our high school cosmetology scholars! They are based out of Orangeburg South Carolina where they have their own shop and hair care product line called The Loc Box. Our scholars were given tutorials and demos today by four licensed stylist where they learned proper use of products, determining hair types, and most importantly customer service and professionalism. Thank you!

Our cosmetology scholars were in for a treat! Pretty In A Minute hair care professionals visited our students to give educational tutorials, introduce their advanced technology hair care products, & inspire our young future professionals!

We would like to thank Celebrate Freedom Foundation for kicking off our first official practice of our Drone Training program on Monday! It was a major success & we are proud of this new road to success our scholars have begun!
