ATTENTION WEATHER UPDATE: Thanks for your patience as we weather the storm, Debby. Based on the recommendation of the Allendale County Emergency Preparedness Team, there are still many washed out roads, roads blocked by debris, and roads that cannot be traveled. Out of an abundance of caution for our students and staff, Allendale County School District will remain closed on Thursday, August 8th. This includes all after-school activities and events. Please check our social media for updates regarding Friday. Everyone please stay safe in the meantime!

ATTENTION: WEATHER UPDATE
Greetings parents and families. School will be closed on Tuesday, August 6th and Wednesday, August 7th due to the impending storm Debby. This includes all after-school activities and events. This decision was made based on the expert recommendations of the Allendale County Preparedness Team. We are grateful for this partnership and many factors were considered in this decision. The safety of our staff and students must always come first. Since we are in the beginning days of school, e-learning is not an option at this time. Everyone please take precautions and be safe in the storm. Please look for the next update on Wednesday, August 7th via our Facebook or website. Thank you for your support of Allendale County Schools #TogetherWeCanDoThis

ATTENTION WEATHER UPDATE: We are closely monitoring the progress of Tropical Storm Debbie. School will operate tomorrow, August 5th as normal. We will make decisions about school closures on a daily basis with the advisement of the Allendale County Emergency Preparedness Team. Please watch our Facebook and website for future updates. As always, we will prioritize the safety of our staff and students. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning!

School is back in session and our scholars seem to be adjusting well on their second day back.

Today was the first day of school for scholars at Allendale County School District. They noticed changes like our increased security measures and no cellphone policy. We are grateful for the support of the Allendale Sheriff Department for their assistance in making sure we had a smooth first day. Here's the start of a great school year!

We're calling all parents, alumni, and partners to help us line the hallways for our students' first day back to school! We want to show our students we support their academic journey at the start - and finish line.

Tensions were high during our competitive egg race! Some employees got a little "creative" with their methods, but ultimately the district office won.

We threw a Rejuvenation Kickoff to get our teachers and staff excited about the upcoming school year! This fun event included grilled food, fun games, and dance competition!

Thank you to all of the sponsors and volunteers who donated and worked to make our Back to School Bash a success. When we reunite to support our scholars, we can do great things! #TogetherWeCanDoThis

We are glad so many families came out to our Back to School Bash event. They enjoyed free food, prizes, and entertainment. We were able to provide free uniforms, backpacks, books, and supplies for over 300 scholars!

Thanks to our annual Back to School Bash, our scholars have everything they need to be ready for the first day of school! Allendale County School District and its community partners gave away clear backpacks and school supplies for the 2024-2025 school year.

Teachers were invited to sessions based on their subject area. We had over 20 sessions on topics such as data notebooks, behavior management, and computer skills so our teachers are equipped with all the tools they need to be successful.

To ensure that our teachers and staff are ready for the upcoming school year, we held a two-day Teacher's Institute.

We want to ensure that our new employees have a smooth transition. So, we held a New Employee Orientation that included a bus tour, department presentations, and bonding exercises.

Let's give a warm welcome to the newest members of the Tiger Family! We are so excited about all the new employees at Allendale County School District. #TogetherWeCanDoThis

10th and 11th grade students attended an orientation session where they learned about changes to our policies, dual enrollment oppurtunities, and expectations for the upcoming school year.

Final reminder that our Back to School Bash is tomorrow at the Tiger Stadium from 9-11 AM. There will be free supplies, food, music, and games! We encourage all scholars to attend so they can start off the school year prepared!

Today is the last day to pre-register your child! Powerschool coordinators will be in the elementary and high school cafeterias until 4:30 PM.
